GE - General Electric moved out of the United Kingdom and are based in Europe. We have seen this filter on sale for £85 on Amazon. Wish we had time to do the things that matter. It seems blogging matters to your rankings on Google. So if I want AAA Filterfast and the fridge water filters we sell, to rank well, we must play the blogging game. Not only that we now have to get a Facebook page sorted with lots of people clicking on the like button - like water filters - What's there to like ? They should be simply functional fridge water filters. In addition we have to get tweeting our wares on Twitter. Now who would want to read my tweets about water filters - ' fridge water filter stock arrived '. You Tube will need to see your prety face or ad to keep you ranking where you would like to be. So now we have to be photogenic and be a presenter of good news about these lovely desireable water filter cartridges. We also have to feature on Google+ which seems to be another way to Blog, but maybe a paid for option - not sure as yet. And then there is Pinterest - which again is new to me, but I better get with it soon or we will be left behind. Guess its the modern way to advertize your wares - so I better get with it. Big compnaies can afford to have paid for bloggers and SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) specialists to promote their site. Hence eBay and Amazon are dominating the first page of Google. Together with the freshness of their pages - as kindly sellers continually update new content for them to feature highly. has now moved into the 21 st century. In addition they have altered their labelling to their water filter and are dropping the Aqua-Pure on their packaging - though this only seems to be happening on the Samsung external fridge water filters. This Samsung external, inline, fridge water filter has 2 part numbers, again unsure why this should be the case. You can locate this filter on our Internet Website using Gone is the compression screw fitting of the original ( not sure who came up with that name or why ?) We now have a modern Samsung external inline fridge water filter with fitting with 'push fit' connections. Can be a little fiddly at first to get the hang of installation, especailly those pesky red or blue circlips, that seem so small for burly plumbers and their meaty mits ( hands ) to handle. Apologies to any lady plumbers, as I know you would not be so burly ! The original Samsung WSF-100 is still available from AAA FilterFast and we plan to stock this filter as long as it remains in manufacture. Many of our customers still prefer the security of a 'compression / screw' fitting. Samsung refrigerator and fridge freezers remain a firm favourite with UK customers. Recently we have received several phone calls from a number of dissatisfied customers. Not ours I hasten to add. They required a GE MWF Smartwater internal water filter. The issue revolved around if we actually had the GE MWF fridge water filters in stock and ready to dispatch. We did and do.
It seems that some on-line retailers keep very little stock. Understandable as stock on the floor is very expensive. Time For Blogging ? Wish there was more time in the day. Guess its all about priorities. Time management etc. Reality is ~ there is too much to do. Latest thing absorbing my time is currency conversion,matched with ease of payment and no fees. However this can be hidden in the exchange rate and small print. Any help / guidance appreciated. Have concluded the Halifax Clarity Card maybe the best solution. However the proof is in the eating, so when I have tried this and double checked other options, I will report back. Be happy :) |
